West Indies cricket team all-rounder Andre Russell has made his foray into the Indian film industry, Bollywood, not as an actor but as a singer.
With a growing trend of Caribbean cricketers exploring opportunities in Bollywood, including DJ Bravo (Dwayne John Bravo), Chris Gayle, and others, Russell joins the league by releasing his debut Hindi music video, “Ladki Toh Kamal Ki,” slated for release on May 9.
In this musical venture, Russell will be seen alongside India’s emerging actress Avika Gor, known for her role in the popular TV show “Balika Vadhu.”

The West Indies cricketer will share the vocals with Bollywood singer Palak Muchhal in his inaugural Hindi song.
The music video “Ladki Tu Kamaal Ki” has been composed and directed by Palaash Muchhal, with Girish and Vinit Jain serving as producers.
