Process for Saudi Arabia Work Visa Protection in Pakistan: Step-by-Step Guide
Step One: Submission of Required Documents Intending emigrants must submit the following documents for registration to the relevant department for processing and verification in the case of direct employment:
- Online Registration Request for Direct Emigrants
- Visa (according to procedures in the host country)
- Valid Passport
- Valid Computerized National Identity Card (photocopy acceptable)
- Employment contract or agreement duly signed by the employer or an approved undertaking by the Director General, Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment
- Receipt of Registration Fee
- Receipt of Welfare Fund
- Emigration Promotion Fee
- Certificate of insurance from State Life Insurance Corporation (original and duplicate copy)
- Copy of NOC for ex-servicemen/government servants/nurses (from relevant federal/provincial health authorities)
- Police Character Verification Certificate for intending emigrants from the concerned DPO Political Agent (for specified countries only)
- Medical Fitness Report from approved medical centres in specified countries.

Step Two: Document Verification and Orientation After verifying the documents, the intending emigrant is guided to the Briefing Hall for orientation. Simultaneously, the registration record is created, a registration number is assigned, a Protector Sticker is affixed to the passport, and the entire case is forwarded to the Protector of Emigrants.
Step Three: Passport Endorsement The Protector of Emigrants officer embosses the passport with their signature and forwards it for delivery.
