On Tuesday night, Pakistani security forces successfully thwarted a terrorist assault launched by Baloch militants at a naval airbase near Turbat, resulting in the elimination of six militants.
Responding to gunfire and explosions near Turbat airport, security personnel stationed around the naval airbase swiftly engaged the armed assailants. According to the Makran Commissioner, the militants attempted to breach the airport perimeter from various directions but were decisively repelled by the security forces.
The targeted site, PNS Siddique, a major naval air station, was effectively defended by the security forces who demonstrated unwavering commitment and bravery in safeguarding the nation amidst an increase in terrorist activities.

Although multiple explosions and sustained gunfire were reported late into the night, neither the military’s media wing nor senior officials have provided detailed information regarding the attack.
The Majeed Brigade of the Balochistan Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the assault, which is part of a recent series of attacks targeting both security forces and civilians.
