The Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC) is set to begin in Barcelona on February 26, featuring numerous brands presenting their latest innovations in mobile and telecommunication technology. Tecno, a subsidiary of China’s Transsion Holdings, recently announced its lineup for the event, including an AR gaming set, a robot dog, and a Pova series smartphone. Now, the brand has confirmed the unveiling of its new “AI-enhanced” imaging system, named Tecno PolarAce, at MWC. Additionally, Tecno will introduce the Tecno Megabook T16 Pro 2024 Ultra notebook at the event.
The PolarAce Imaging System, claimed to be Tecno’s first imaging system with an independent imaging chip, promises advanced videography capabilities. It will debut in the upcoming Tecno Camon 30 series, alongside the Megabook T16 Pro 2024 Ultra, on February 27.

Tecno aims to address the limitations of traditional SoCs with its PolarAce Imaging System, offering improved video capture and enhanced HDR capabilities. The brand’s lineup for MWC also includes the unveiling of a new Pova phone, a flagship laptop, and an AR gaming kit. Tecno’s Pocket Go, the first Windows AR gaming handheld, combines AR glasses with a handheld device. Additionally, the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G smartphone will make its global debut at the event, showcasing the brand’s futuristic AI and AR technologies, Universal Tone technology, and new concepts.
Furthermore, Tecno is expected to introduce its first rollable phone, the Phantom Ultimate, during the event. The brand previously showcased the Phantom Ultimate prototype with a rollable display in September 2022.
