Karachi Kings chose to field after winning the toss. Multan had a shaky start losing their captain Muhammad Rizwan early at 17/1. However, their foreign star players turned the game around.
Reeza Hendricks played an outstanding innings, scoring an unbeaten 79 off 54 balls, including 3 sixes and 7 fours. He partnered well with Dawid Malan, who also made a solid fifty. Together, they put on a partnership of 121 runs, helping Multan Sultans reach a challenging total of 206-5.

Karachi Kings’ bowler Mir Hamza performed well, conceding just 30 runs and taking one wicket in his spell.
In the second innings, David Willey troubled Karachi Kings’ top order, taking two quick wickets. Shoaib Malik fought hard, scoring 53 off 35 balls, but lacked support from other batsmen. Karachi Kings managed only 130 runs in their 20 overs.
