Realme 12+ Debuts Featuring 67W Charging, OIS Camera, and 120Hz AMOLED Display

Realme 12 series expands with its latest addition, initially available in the Malaysian and Indonesian markets. The Realme 12+ maintains the design aesthetics of its counterparts while offering slight tweaks in specifications, including a different chipset and camera setup.

Design and Display

The Realme 12+ boasts a consistent design language with its siblings, featuring a 6.7-inch AMOLED display offering a crisp 1080p resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Positioned at the centre is a punch-hole cutout housing the selfie camera, while an optical fingerprint sensor, doubling as a heart rate tracker, rests beneath the display. The rear panel sports the same vegan leather finish and a circular main camera module seen in the Realme 12 Pro and Pro+.

Internals and Software

Under the hood, the Realme 12+ has a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Notably, there’s no provision for memory card expansion. Software-wise, the device ships with Android 14 topped with Realme UI 5.0.

Cameras

The rear camera setup features a prominent camera island housing a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, offering a 26mm equivalent focal range. It supports 2x in-sensor zoom, features OIS for enhanced stability, and a dedicated portrait mode. Accompanying this are an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro camera. The front-facing camera, nestled within the punch-hole cutout, is a 16MP shooter.

Battery and Pricing

Fueling the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery, complemented by 67W wired charging support for swift replenishment. The Realme 12+ is available in Navigator Beige and Pioneer Green colour options in Indonesia, starting at $267.
