Riyadh – Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, met with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two Islamic nations, as stated by the military’s media wing on Wednesday.
During his official visit to Saudi Arabia, General Asim Munir is engaging in crucial discussions.
In an announcement by ISPR, it was revealed that discussions between COAS Asim Munir and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman encompassed regional peace and security, as well as bilateral defense and security cooperation.

Gen Asim also held meetings with Saudi Arabia’s Defence Minister HRH Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Excellency General Fayyadh Bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff (CGS) Saudi Armed Forces, Engineer Talal Abdullah Al Otaibi, Assistant Minister of Defence of KSA, and other senior military figures.

During these discussions, the Saudi Prince emphasized the historical and strong brotherly relations between Riyadh and Islamabad, noting the consistent support between the two nations.
The Saudi leader expressed a keen interest in further strengthening bilateral ties, affirming that the Kingdom would continue to support Pakistan in the future, as per ISPR.
Pakistan’s Army Chief extended gratitude to the Saudi leadership for their warm sentiments and unwavering support.
