The newly elected federal government has opted to maintain petrol prices for the next two weeks. However, there has been a slight reduction in the price of diesel.
The revised diesel price is Rs. 285.56 per liter, reflecting a decrease of Rs. 1.77 per liter.

In the previous review of petroleum prices on February 29, the caretaker government raised the price of petrol by Rs. 4.13 per liter, setting it at Rs. 279.75. Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel remained unchanged at Rs. 287.33 per liter.
The caretaker government had also increased petrol and high-speed diesel prices in the preceding reviews on February 15 and January 31.
