The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has sanctioned an increase of Rs4.92 per unit in electricity tariffs as a fuel cost adjustment for February 2024.
According to a notification from the regulatory authority, this hike will be reflected in the electricity bills for April 2024.

The notification clarified that this adjustment will affect all consumer categories, except electric vehicle charging stations and lifeline consumers.
Nepra also noted that the adjusted rates will be distinctly itemized on the consumer bills, based on the electricity consumed in February 2024.
