The election process for the PCB Chairman took place at the National Cricket Academy, resulting in Mohsin Naqvi securing the position as the 37th Chairman of the PCB. Naqvi emerged as the sole candidate for the role, nominated by the Caretaker Prime Minister, after the resignation of former PCB Chairman, Zaka Ashraf.
Zaka Ashraf’s resignation was announced during a Management Committee meeting. He had assumed the position of Chairman on July 6, succeeding Najam Sethi on the same day.
