Fortune favored Karachi fishermen as they unintentionally captured 700 rare Sawa fish, valued at approximately Rs2 billion, near Keti Bandar.
In the nets of fishermen near Keti Bandar, a significant haul of highly valuable and rare “Sawa” fish, worth millions of rupees, has been discovered.
According to Kamal Shah, spokesperson for the Coastal Media Center, a substantial catch of “Sawa” fish was made in the nets yesterday.

He reported that 700 Sawa fish were found in the nets of three boats.
Meanwhile, Majid Khan, technical advisor of WWF, noted that Sawa fish congregate to spawn in March and April.
He also expressed concerns about the risk of Sawa fish extinction due to excessive hunting.
