President Ebrahim Raisi stated that any impulsive moves by Israel or its allies would elicit a vigorous and more intense response from Iran. This sentiment was reinforced by Major-General Mohammad Bagheri, the Iranian military chief, who asserted that Israel should expect a significantly larger counter-strike if it retaliates.

Furthermore, Iranian officials have cautioned the United States against aiding Israel in any retaliatory efforts, warning that such support could result in attacks on U.S. bases. Over the weekend, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched numerous drones and missiles at Israel in an operation dubbed “True Promise,” described as retaliation for “Israeli crimes.” Following this, the U.S. National Security Council, through spokesperson Adrienne Watson, confirmed the attacks and reassured of its support for Israel’s right to defend itself.

In response to the situation, military forces in Syria remain vigilant, and the airspace over Iraq, Jordan, and Israel was temporarily closed. Israel experienced minimal damage from the attack and has since reopened its airspace.
