Restoration of Hajj Quota and Removal of Age Limit by Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has reinstated the full Hajj quota for Pakistan and removed the previous age restrictions, enabling more Pakistani pilgrims to partake in Hajj this year.

Integration of Technology in Hajj 2024
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah now permits using smartphones for pilgrims. Various mobile apps will assist them throughout their pilgrimage, guiding flights to accommodations. Additionally, each pilgrim will receive a free mobile SIM card from a Saudi telecom provider, which includes 180 minutes of international calling.
Training and Health Safety Measures for Pilgrims
The second phase of Hajj training for pilgrims will start on April 15th, conducted across 122 locations by 40 expert trainers. This preparation will include comprehensive briefings on the pilgrimage process and new safety measures. Health protocols are stringent, with required vaccinations beginning ten days before their first Hajj flight. Pilgrims will receive a package that includes a suitcase, a carry-on bag, a shoe bag, an Ihram belt, and a green scarf bearing the Pakistani flag to promote unity and national identity among the attendees.
