On Friday, the price of gold in Pakistan saw an increase of Rs. 500 per tola, contributing to its weekly upward trend.
The Karachi Sarafa Association reported that the cost for 24-carat gold climbed by Rs. 500 per tola, reaching Rs. 250,700, and the price for 10 grams increased by Rs. 429 to Rs. 214,935.

Despite a decrease of Rs. 1,700 per tola on Thursday, gold prices have experienced a net gain of Rs. 4,200 per tola over the course of the week.
Internationally, gold prices also rose on Friday, positioning them for a fifth consecutive week of gains. As of 1040 GMT, spot gold was up by 0.1 percent at $2,380.68 per ounce, and U.S. gold futures also increased by 0.1 percent to $2,396.60 per ounce.
