Rescue efforts are underway to locate coal mine workers trapped in a mine that collapsed following a gas explosion. According to media reports, several individuals have already been rescued, while four more remain trapped.

The incident occurred at a private coal mine in the mining area of Khost, located 80 kilometers east of the provincial capital, Quetta, on Tuesday evening. Although there are concerns about the fate of the remaining trapped workers, rescue teams are working tirelessly to retrieve them. Teams from the government’s mining department, the disaster management agency, and other officials are currently on-site.
