In a significant announcement, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif has pledged to introduce an Orange Line Metro Train in Faisalabad should his party regain power.
During a recent rally in Faisalabad, the former three-time Prime Minister expressed his commitment to launching a metro train system in the city, contrasting it with his brother Shehbaz Sharif’s previous implementation of a metro bus project. Sharif emphasized that his party would prioritize the establishment of the metro train upon securing victory in the upcoming elections.

Additionally, Nawaz Sharif vowed to create employment opportunities for every citizen of Faisalabad, criticizing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for its failure to deliver on the promise of generating 10 million jobs.
Directing his brother Shehbaz Sharif, Nawaz Sharif urged him to ensure that Faisalabad, known as the industrial hub of the country, becomes free of unemployment within the next five years.
Furthermore, the former Prime Minister pledged to construct a motorway passing through the city, leveraging Faisalabad’s strategic location between existing motorways. Sharif reassured the public of his commitment to affordability, drawing parallels with his previous tenure as Prime Minister where he prioritized accessibility for all.
