Lahore/Gujrat: Punjab police continued their raids on PTI election offices and residences of party leaders and supporters across the province on Monday, amid allegations of harassment against women workers.
The PTI claimed that police, along with masked individuals, sealed the election office of their NA-118 nominee, Aaliya Hamza, and PP-148 aspirant, Saba Dewan.
A PTI spokesperson alleged that police and unknown individuals harassed women workers at the party’s election office in NA-118, warning them against campaigning against PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz.

The spokesperson questioned whether the Election Commission of Pakistan would take notice of these actions, emphasizing that the nation would retaliate and defeat the “mafia” through voting power on February 8.
In another incident, law enforcement personnel reportedly abducted high court lawyer Khalid Ranjha and his elderly father in Sargodha, allegedly for supporting PTI-affiliated candidate Usama Mela in NA-83.
In Gujrat, PTI nominee for NA-64 Chaudhary Qaisara Elahi, along with her sister Sameera Elahi, accused police of raiding their residence, Zahoor Elahi House, and confiscating documents and electronics. They alleged that police damaged property and harassed residents during the raid.
In Multan, veteran politician Javed Hashmi reported a police raid on his residence in Makhdoom Rasheed area, where his son-in-law, grandson, and a servant were detained. His son-in-law, Shahid Bahar Hashmi, is a PTI-backed candidate.
