Last month, she was in the holy cities of Makkah and Madina performing Umrah. She shared her spiritual journey through photos and expressed her profound emotions, “The Summoning—terrifying, beautiful, an aghast feeling all at once. It’s like you’re unlocking a few secrets of the world—each time it gives you something to remember. May ALLAH keep summoning me for my repentance, and may He always keep my father with me. However, Aima Baig has had her share of challenges. Following a tumultuous breakup with actor Shehbaz Shigri and a subsequent cheating scandal, she endured severe backlash and trolling. In a February podcast interview with Ahmed Ali Butt, the “Rent Free” singer disclosed that the ordeal had severely impacted her mental health, bringing her to the brink of suicide.
