The 22-year-old motorcyclist fell victim to the sharp twine, resulting in an immediate fatality, leaving viewers heartbroken after witnessing the sensitive footage of the incident.

The authorities followed Prompt action, with Punjab’s Inspector General, Dr. Usman Anwar, ordering a comprehensive report from the regional police office in Faisalabad. The IG stressed the urgent need for stringent enforcement of anti-kite flying laws to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz of Punjab also stepped in, instructing the district administration and police to apprehend violators within 48 hours. This tragic event has reignited the call for tighter regulations and enforcement against kite flying, leading to the hashtag #BoycottBasant gaining traction on social media platforms.
