The Government of Punjab achieves record tax revenue surpassing Rs. 400 billion through e-Pay Punjab, an online platform for collecting government receipts.
During a progress review meeting, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf disclosed that the system has facilitated over 50 million online transactions.
The meeting attendees were informed about the significant rise in online payments by citizens, with over 3 million downloads of the app so far. Notably, the portal enables payment of 84 taxes from 18 departments, including the Punjab Land Records Authority.

Chairman Faisal Yousaf emphasized the continuous addition of new services to e-Pay Punjab, aiming to enhance citizen convenience and streamline processes. The objective is to improve public accessibility to government services.
Developed by PITB in collaboration with the Punjab Finance Department and 1 Link, e-Pay Punjab enables payments through various channels, including ATM, internet banking, mobile banking, over-the-counter at 1Link member banks, Telco Agents, and mobile wallets.
