The Establishment Division has issued official timings for federal government employees during Ramadan.
According to the notification released by the Establishment Division, federal government institutions will now function from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, five days a week.
The notification specifies that during a six-day workweek, office hours will be from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Federal government offices will operate on Fridays from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Previously, the provincial government of Balochistan also announced adjusted office hours for Ramadan.
As per the directive, offices will adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Thursday, operating hours will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. On Fridays, offices will operate from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Additionally, offices with a six-day workweek will function from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm every Saturday during Ramadan. However, on Fridays, these offices will conclude operations earlier, closing at 12:00 pm.
