During a meeting on Thursday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif reviewed the higher education scholarships and iPad scheme in the province.
Expressing dissatisfaction with the incomplete briefing, the Chief Minister instructed to present a comprehensive plan for the PEEF Scholarships scheme.
In a significant development, CM Maryam ordered to conduct a student survey for both the iPad and laptop schemes in Punjab. She emphasized that decisions regarding the distribution of iPads and laptops would be made after assessing the student’s needs.

Additionally, Maryam Nawaz underscored the importance of gathering students’ feedback for such schemes.
The meeting was attended by former Senator Pervez Rasheed, member of the Provincial Assembly Maryam Aurangzeb, Nosheen Adnan, Rana Sikandar Hayat, Chief Secretary, Chairman of P&D, Secretary of Finance and Secretary of Higher Education, Chairman of PITB, and other officials.
