Anticipation for the largest-ever men’s World Cup has finally ended as FIFA, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association, unveils the complete schedule for the 2026 tournament. This historic sporting event will span across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, featuring a record 48 teams participating in a total of 108 matches spread across numerous cities. Scheduled to kick off on June 11, 2026, in Mexico City, the FIFA World Cup 2026 promises an unprecedented spectacle.

Atlanta will be a pivotal host, staging eight matches at the prestigious Mercedes-Benz Stadium, including five group stage encounters, a round of 32 fixture, a round of 16 match, and one semifinal game. Boston, the capital of Massachusetts, will witness five group stage games at Gillette Stadium, contributing to the tournament’s diverse lineup of matches.

Dallas is poised to play a significant role, hosting five group stage games, two in the round of 32, one in the round of 16, and a semifinal match at the AT&T Stadium. Guadalajara will be a focal point for football excitement, with four games at Estadio Akron during the group stage.

Houston, Texas, is set to be a dynamic host, overseeing five group stage games and subsequently hosting a round of 32 match and a round of 16 encounter. Kansas City will also be prominent, presenting six matches, including four group stage games, one in the round of 32, and a quarterfinal match.

Los Angeles, situated in Southern California, will host the tournament opener along with four additional group stage games, two matches in the round of 32, and a quarterfinal game. Mexico City, a stronghold for football, will host three group stage matches, one in the round of 32, and one in the round of 16 at Estadio Azteca.

Miami is slated to be a bustling host city, accommodating 32 games, including four group stage matches, a quarterfinal game, and the third-place match. Monterrey will witness four matches, encompassing three group stage encounters and a round of 32 match.

New York City, a hub for sports and culture, is set to host a total of eight games, including the final at MetLife Stadium. This includes five group stage matches, one in the round of 32, and one in the round of 16. Philadelphia, the largest city in Pennsylvania, will contribute to the festivities by hosting five group stage games and one round of 16 match.

San Francisco will be an exciting host, featuring the FIFA opener and five group stage games, in addition to a match in the round of 32. Seattle will present six matches in total, comprising four group stage games, a round of 32 fixture, and a round of 16 match.

Toronto, a prominent Canadian city, is honored to host the opener, four additional group stage games, and one round of 32 match. Vancouver, renowned for its diversity, will host five group stage games, a round of 32 fixture, and a round of 16 match. The extensive schedule across these diverse cities promises a World Cup experience like never before, marking a historic chapter in international football.
