Dozens of Pakistani nurses have lost their jobs in Saudi Arabia due to a recruiter’s use of a single verification report for multiple paramedics. Despite the nurses being qualified for their positions, they suffered the consequences of the recruiter’s actions, which involved submitting forged online credentials.
As a result of this fraudulent activity, a significant number of nurses were sent back home after Saudi authorities detected the forgery during their routine online screenings of documents. The incident prompted Pakistan’s Directorate General of Emigration and Overseas Employment to take serious action.

In response to the functional irregularities observed by foreign employers in the Kingdom, the Pakistani authorities suspended the license of the Rawalpindi-based recruiter and blacklisted them from future engagements.
To prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future, a committee has been formed to conduct a more detailed investigation into the matter. This step aims to ensure the integrity of the recruitment process and safeguard the interests of Pakistani workers seeking employment abroad.
Despite the setback caused by the recruiter’s actions, it’s worth noting that the affected nurses were qualified for their roles, highlighting the importance of transparent and ethical recruitment practices in the overseas employment sector.
